To cztery wielkości obrazu Full HD. Problem był jednak taki, że owe 4K rejestrowało wyłącznie w 15 klatkach na sekundę. Jeśli kiedykolwiek nagrywaliście w takim trybie, to zauważycie słabą płynność takich plików. Co z tego, że rozdzielczość jest wysoka, jak wygląda to niezbyt fajnie przy dynamicznych ujęciach. Ja już na 30 fpsów jestem zły, a co dopiero 15… Warto dodać, że już niektóre topowe smartfony nagrywają w 4K nieco lepiej niż GoPro trzeciej generacji. GoPro to kamerka akcji, więc użytkujemy ją głównie do ruchu, a więc zapis ma być płynny – wolimy to niż lepszą jakość. Zapisze się więcej szczegółów. Hero4 Black Edition będzie potrafiło zarejestrować Ultra HD w 30 lub bawet 35 klatkach na sekundę. To zdecydowanie lepiej. Co prawda iPhone 6 umie zapisać obraz video nawet w 240, ale w zdecydowanie mniejszej ramce. Do tego Hero4 w trybie ultra-szerokokątnym nagra film w 24 fpsach (standard kinowy – obecnie filmowcy zaczynają z 48). 4K to obecnie najwyższy standard, ale do wyboru jest jeszcze kilka innych rozdzielczości: K z 50 fps, 1440p przy 80 fps, czy Full HD 1080p i 960p (oba w slow motion, czyli 120 klatkach). najniższe będzie 720p – idealne na szybkiego YouTube’a. Dla porównania szybkie przypomnienie możliwości Hero 3 Black Edition: – 30 fps , 1440p – 48 fps, 1080p – 60, 960p – 100 oraz 720p w 120 fps’ach. Wniosek jest jeden. Hero4 Black Edition zyskało lepszą jakość, więc i wnętrze urządzenia musiało zostać podrasowano. Producent przekazuje dosyć ogólne informacje na temat podzespołów. Wiemy jedynie, że procesor jest dwa razy mocniejszy od starszego, ale nie sprecyzowano którego konkretnie. Projekt chwali się najbardziej zaawansowanymi parametrami jakie kiedykolwiek użyto w GoPro, ale tutaj możemy jedynie wierzyć w zapewnienia wytwórcy. Dopiero testy i benchmarki wykażą różnice. Wydaje się jednak, że klientom i tak nie będzie specjalnie na tym zależało – ważne, że kamerka poradzi sobie z lepszymi możliwościami video. Podobnie ciężko ocenić żywotność baterii, ale z każdym kolejnym wariantem starano się wydłużyć czas pracy akumulatorka. Zmiany są także pod względem łączności. The connection is always smooth, and there are never any issues, so it’s without a doubt a useful feature to have. Some camcorders labeled as “action cams” tend to offer a low-quality video experience. The Hero 4 bucks this trend by providing some of the best video quality you’ll see on a portable camcorder. You’ll notice vivid, vibrant colors and a crisp, clean picture. No matter when you’re shooting your video, you’ll get excellent results. You’ll also have a great experience capturing still photos with the GoPro Hero 4. The photo quality is as good as you’ll have with your smartphone camera. This is a big deal for anyone who has used these cameras before, because traditionally the GoPros haven't been very good in lower light thanks to their smallers sensors. It's tough to tell how much dynamic range has been improved since the profile is so flat, but it does look like it is slightly better on the new HERO3. Jared Abrams has posted a new test showing off the mode of the HERO3, which is going to be far more useful since it can shoot a full frame rate. This motorcycle parts were shot in at 24fps: Video is no longer available: Here is what Jared said about using the GoPro: The Hero 3 lets you manually adjust white balance. We shot this at 5500K. The auto exposure also held up very well. I only slightly tweaked the exposure in the final video. The micro SD’s are a little annoying. I got a little over two hours with a 32GB micro SD. The in camera battery does not last very long. I would say maybe an hour tops. We had two in camera batteries and one new Bac Pac style battery and they all barely lasted a ten hour day with charges in-between locations. We had to use the older LCD Bac Pac to line up shots and that helped drain the batts, hopefully with the new iPhone update they will last a little longer. I'm really liking what I've seen so far from the HERO3, and it definitely looks like a major improvement from the previous camera. The new frame modes, especially are extremely useful for stabilizing a shot, even though the HERO3 does have onboard stabilization.
